Bookings, cancellations and charges
Cancellation policy for individuals: Hlíð Mývatn Accomdation and Eldá will charge for one night minimun in the case of late cancellation or no show. Standard cancellation is 24 hours prior to arrival. Please note that bookings made at discounted rates or other specials and packages, other policies may apply.
Guests are required to pay by arrival if nothing else was agreed.
All prices include service charges and the value added tax.
For groups other cancellation policies apply. Please contact the us directly for further information.
Regulations
Check in time is between 17:00 and 20:00.
Check out time is between 10:00-12:00 depending on type of accommodation.
Campsite check in and check out time are all hours. Hlíð Mývatn Accomdation charge per night.
Hlíð Mývatn Accomdation and Eldá shall be entitled to refuse a guest entry or accommodation or to require a guest to leave if unreasonable behaviour is displayed, be it threatening or abusive, causing disturbance to other guests or otherwise unacceptable.
Pets are not allowed.
Child policy
Infants at the age of 0-2 years stay free of charge in cot or with parents in bed if agreed.
Lost property
Lost and found items will remain for a period of three months. To claim any lost and found items, a guest should first contact Hlíð Mývatn Accomdation or Eldá.
Complaints or comments
We strive to cater to the individual needs of our guests at all times, so if you feel there is an area that we can improve, or if you are unsatisfied with your visit. Any complaint or comment regarding a stay should be reported right away to the receptionin Hlíð Mývatn Accomdation or Eldá at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time.
Force Majure
We cannot be held liable for delays or cancellations that are caused by events that are beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to strikes, restriction on supplies, acts of civil or military authority, acts of terrorism, insurrections, peace or army action, civil commotion, demonstrations, natural disasters, etc.
