Mývatn er einn af þekktustu ferðamannastöðum landsins og Íslendingar gætu haldið að þar kæmi þeim ekkert á óvart. Kringum Mývatn

Róaðu taktinn í ferðamátanum og notaðu reiðhjól til að kynnast svæðinu betur. Það þarf ekki að fara nema 5 – 10 km til að skoða stærstu gerfigíga á Íslandi, undralandið Höfða með dýrðlegu samspili hraunmyndana, vatns og gróðurs og sjálft Hverfjall sem er risavaxinn sprengigígur, 396 m hár. Svo er upplagt að heimsækja Fuglasafn Sigurgeirs þar sem finna má uppstoppaða fugla af næstum hverri einustu tegund sem verpir á Íslandi. Heimsókn í Jarðböðin svíkur engan og þegar fólk fer að svengjast af öllum þessum ævintýrum er hægt að setjast inn á eitthvert af kaffihúsunum á svæðinu eða kanski fá sér pizzu með reyktum Mývatnssilungi! Við mælum með að njóta en ekki þjóta – og reiðhjólin er hægt að leigja hjá okkur.
